I'm down another 2 pounds this week. But I'm hungry today. I ate the same breakfast I usually eat, and I had coffee and a cookie, and then I had to take the kids outside (and it's freezing!) just to keep myself from eating again before lunch. I just had lunch, and I made myself a cup of tea, and already I keep glancing at the kitchen!
The Princess has swimming today, so if I can keep myself out of there until we leave at 3:30, I'll be safe until we get home, and then it's time to make dinner anyway, so I'll be fine.
I have no idea why I'm so hungry today....

It's that little bit of temptation that creeps in a few weeks into the diet. Ignore it, you're doing great!
You are hungry because it's cold outside.
This is the body's way of assuring that we have a thick enough fat layer to keep us warm in these sub-freezing temperatures.
It has nothing to do with boredom, comfort eating, or chocolate addiction.
(That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)
I am quite sure that if I lived in Hawaii, I would be very thin.
Hang in there Badness, you're doing great!
P.S. Thanks for dropping by my blog!
As I read this I am snacking on a bag for those sugar snap peas. I ate a bit, went for a run, ate a bit more and am still starving. It's going to be a looooooooong day of not eating those cookies I baked last night.
Good for you on the two pounds!
Congrats on another two pounds! I think I'm gaining what you're losing ;)
Honestly, when it's cold I get hungrier. Always.
and then when you think about it you're sunk!
My go to snack is rice krispies. I don't know why - but I feel like it's healthy and filling.
Congrats on the two more pounds, great job! Some days it seems there is no explanation to why we are more hungry. Keep up the good work. I hope to join you some day soon when I start to care again. See, I don't know why I don't care some days and other days I do really well with my eating. UGH!
PMS? Snow-itis? I have days like that too, where I'm just more hungry.
You are doing so great! Good for you for getting out of the house to stick to your plan. Your body is adjusting to your new weight, hence the hungries. You may plateau for a week or two during the adjustment period, but then you should be back on track. At least that is how it always worked for me.
oh and I forgot to say, my sil tried your granola recipe and loved it! Thanks!
I'm getting a few ingredients I'm missing tomorrow and then I'll try it too.
Do you cut down the oil ever? Can you? I'm going to try:)
Wow, another 2 pounds. You are doing great! Hope you managed to stay out of the kitchen yesterday afternoon!
Heidi
Some days are just like that. You're doing so great and I'm really proud of your determination. Congrats!
