Him leaving his shoes all over the place? My house is awash with people's shoes.
He was polishing his filthy shoes on the kitchen table. You'd think he could at least put a newspaper underneath them!

not a clue (but maybe I'm just wilfully not getting it as I'm usually the guilty party in the leaving of things all over the house)
