Ow! That hurts.

Bad woke me up at 5:30 this morning with his usual refrain of "UP! UP! (pl) AY!" and the requisite accompaniment arm-yanking. I pulled him down for a cuddle and whispered, " 'morning baby. You're such a big boy now."

"Me two! EEgie (the Princess) 'ree (she's five, but whatever) Momma OLD!"

I don't think he's getting any breakfast.

That's the lovely thing about kids. They call it as they see it. At least it's kinda cute now. When said by teenagers? Not so much.

When my granddaughter introduces me (she is 7), she always says, "no, really, this is my grandma, she started young",, lol. I am 44, so not as "old" as some grandma's out there, and I think somewhere is a compliment in that, but really, I always feel the need to defend that I wasn't a candidate for the Jerry Springer show.

Mine just turned six, and for the past two years, he wakes me up by yelling, "It's a nice day outside!"

I'm going to miss when he quits doing that.

Geez who taught him that? "Mamma old" oh that's too much.

That is too funny.
But I have to agree with Ali - funny now. Not so much when it's coming from your 18 yr old.
Enjoy it while you can.

Yeah, Rae (who's 6) loves to tell people, "My mum is 45! She's like an old gramma." Um, thanks. I had to explain that I wouldn't actually *be* a 'gramma' until either she or her sister popped out a baby. So I do indeed hope to be an *old* gramma when I become one.

I remember playing I spy with Leah when she was about 3:

Me: I spy with my little eye, something that is grey.

Leah: Your hair, Mum?
